Art Camp!!

Bad, Bad, Momma hasn't updated Alison's art blog in ages. She still creates tons of artwork, I've just been bad about having her take pictures and helping her post them. So thanks to a friendly nudge from my friend Sybil (who's daughter also has an art blog), I'm resurrecting Alison's art blog starting with her Art Camp work.

Just in case you haven't heard, Alison is going to Spring Break Art Camp this week. Yesterday was Day 1 and she loved it. She didn't get to bring anything home though because it was a 2 day project. So today she finished it up and brought it home. We have no idea what she'll be doing tomorrow and she can't wait to go back and find out!

Yesterday they made a swirly design on the paper and colored all the different shapes different colors to make a random rainbowish background. Then they painted over it with black paint.

Today they drew a picture with pencil. Colored the backside of the picture with chalk, then laid it chalk side down on the black paper.

Then they traced their picture with a pen, which transferred the chalk to the black paint, which they then scraped away to make their picture.

Plus, since they only used 1/2 of the page they made yesterday, Alison has an extra page to transfer a new design on later. What a bonus!

A Note from Alison's Mom

If you want one of Alison's art projects leave a comment or email. There is no set price (well, except the butterfly). She has said that people can send big silver monies (quarters). We'll send it out to you if you don't live close enough for her to hand deliver it.
Thanks, Jennifer

But Wait, There's More!

These are just the beginning of my pieces of art. There are some projects that I haven't taken pictures of yet.

Welcome to My Art Sale!

This is a rainbow house with the new kind of flowers that I draw. You'll also see that there is a sunshine in the top left corner. There is a blue sky and green grass. This is picture is called "A Rainbow House Below a Bright Sunshine."

This one has sparkles, blue flowers, hearts and a heart shaped sticker. There are stickers on this too. If you look closely, there is a line between two little stickers that are circles. This is called "A Masterpiece of Things You Can Use to Make Art."

There is a diamond, two green triangles, and two blue squares with a pink heart between all those shapes. Look sideways. Point your head to the left. This piece of art is called "Pink in the Middle."

This is a piece of art with a rainbow. There's not much to tell. It's just an ordinary rainbow. Except, I put a touch of pink at the bottom of this rainbow, as you'll see. This piece of art is called, "A Rainbow with a Touch of Pink at the End."

Look to your left again, with your head. There is a pretty pattern and there is also a pretty heart in the middle. This piece of art is called, "Pink and Purple Mosiac."

This is a butterfly picture. I put how much it costs on the other side. It is $2. You will like the butterfly piece of art. It's called "A Perfect Pink, Purple, and Blue."

This piece of art is no longer available. I have some cottages and solar system pictures that I need to take picture of still.

This is a landscape picture with mountains and trees. You'll notice that the grass is three different colors of green, light green, medium green and dark green are the greens I used. Look at the sun, isn't it really, really, hot? I also drew some trees if you see and please. (It rhymes) This is called "Landscapes" because trees and mountains are landscapes.
